Teddy Bears is a small and friendly Pre-School in the West Berkshire village of Boxford. We offer quality childcare for children aged between 2 and 5, and a toddler group.
We aim to promote learning through play in a safe and nurturing environment. Children that come to Teddy Bears develop socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually and are well prepared for compulsary education. We pride ourselves on developing each child’s confidence and self-esteem and understanding ea
ch child as an individual.
Children can enjoy our morning sessions in which they can take part in practical activities, songs/musical instruments, dance, nursery rhymes, circle time, adult lead table activities, self selection activities, free flow indoor/outdoor play and story time. The over three’s afternoon sessions on a Tuesday & Wednesday have a more structured format. The children can select resources for activities but are also encouraged to access adult lead activities which include: folder work, maths, P.E., science and story time
We are a member of the Pre-school Learning Alliance and OFSTED inspected . We are also a registered charity, our number is 1024855.
